Friday was the last day CapMacDC, one of my favorite food trucks, was on the road! So, of course I had make sure I made it to #FarragutFriday to get my last taste!
Continuing my mission to try every DC food truck I possibly can . . . today for lunch I went to Amorini Panini . . .
After successfully trying Truckeroo in June, we headed back again for this food truck bonanza! We got spiedies for dinner from the Bada Bing truck, and Curbside Cupcakes’ Guinness Chocolate Stout cupcakes for dessert in honor of DC Beer Week. I would say A+ and hope to go again! 🙂
Ok – double post today! But, this morning we went to the most amazing brunch of my life ever (maybe just thus far 🙂 at Le Diplomate in Logan Circle. I have been waiting and waiting for this place to open and when I saw that the ladies over at Bitches who Brunch had reviewed it and given it an A I was so excited to try it!
Ben and I had been craving seafood lately, so we decided to go out to Grillfish (an Eatwell DC reataurant) in Dupont for dinner last night. We were not disappointed, to say the least . . . the food was stellar and the service was great! And bonus — because it was a nice night, we got to sit outside on their patio and people watch 🙂
I made these decadent rich and gooey chocolate cream cheese cupcakes. Here is the recipe I used! [. . .]
On Friday Ben and I went to Truckeroo for the first time — and it was AMAZING!! I had heard about it ages ago, and have really, really been wanting to try it. It was most definitely a food truck bonanza!
