With the emergence of online cooking and baking clubs, it’s the best of both worlds! I can cook and bake from the comfort of my own home, post pictures of what I’ve made to the group, no scheduling to do, and no guilt about missing the monthly meeting because I’d rather just sit at home. And bonus — perfect for a global pandemic!
After our wedding, we had a few cans of craft beer left over. One afternoon they started to hiss and pop (as in — they were about to explode all over our apt) … what else was I to do but make 2 loaves of beer bread?! ☺??? So, I did some quick thinking and made one loaf pumpkin chocolate chip, and one loaf honey wheat.
As you know, I like anything chocolate! I made this batch last month for Mother’s day and brought them to Ben’s parent’s house, and we ate them for dessert.

Well, last month my Grandma, who we lovingly call Grammy, celebrated her 85th birthday! We had a family celebration with my parents, sister, uncles, aunts, and cousins — very lovely!
