I Made Repeat Crafter Me’s Moss Stitch Shawl

Sarah over at Repeat Crafter Me posted the pattern for this beautiful, bright, colorful moss stitch shawl over a year ago and I’ve been wanting to make it ever since. I also hadn’t used the Caron Big Cakes before, and was really excited to try it!

The moss stitch wasn’t something I’d crocheted in the past, but Sarah’s tutorial and pattern were really easy to follow and the shawl worked up really quickly. While I’m really happy with how my shawl turned out, after using it a few times it feels a bit small. I only used 1 Caron Big Cake, so I kinda wish I’d continued and opened the 2nd Caron Big Cake I bought and made the shawl a bit bigger. But, oh well — lesson for next time: make sure to try the shawl a few times before fastening off. 🙂
