Have you heard of this Ben and Jerry’s and New Belgium Brewing collaboration?!! The Salted Caramel Brown-ie Ale Ice Cream!!! Read on to see the Instagrams I took and more 🙂
After our wedding, we had a few cans of craft beer left over. One afternoon they started to hiss and pop (as in — they were about to explode all over our apt) … what else was I to do but make 2 loaves of beer bread?! ☺👍🍻🍞 So, I did some quick thinking and made one loaf pumpkin chocolate chip, and one loaf honey wheat.
As you know, I like anything chocolate! I made this batch last month for Mother’s day and brought them to Ben’s parent’s house, and we ate them for dessert.
Seriously — WHAT could be a better way to welcome in 2015 than with some chocolate, coffee, beer, and cake, all together, in one deliciously decadent sweet treat?! I really don’t think much of anything. It’s for realz a whole lot of my favorite foods all mushed together in one. 🙂
I was on a bit of a bibimbap craze a while back and pinned some recipes. Well – I guess the mood finally struck and I decided it was time to try this at home. I knew it wouldn’t be as good as Mandu or any food truck, but I had to try it. If anything, it would be a modified stir fry. Here we go . . .
Ok – so I’m super excited to go to RFD in Chinatown tonight . . . They’re featuring $5 pints from more than 20 American craft breweries on all 45 of their draft lines. Anyways, while I was eating lunch today, I threw together a quick list of the breweries twitter, instagram, and untappd handles because when I’m out and about I like to have their social media profiles accessible. I didn’t have time to make them linkable, but hopefully this is helpful anyways.
Yesterday was Cinco de Mayo – one of my top three favorite holidays of the year! One of these days I am going to make the perfect cross between a Paloma and a Margarita. Alas, for now, I am just going to have to settle on crafting the perfect recipe.
