Here is my basic everyday tomato soup recipe, which goes great with a warm grilled cheese on a cold winter day. 🙂
I’ve been SO in the mood for warm winter soups lately. Even though I’ve made lentil soup maybe four or five times in the past (which didn’t turn out) I thought I’d try again. Here’s the new one I tried recently. . .
Soup is one of my all time comfort foods. I’m so excited to share this recipe with you today! The star ingredients in this soup are: carrots, sweet potatoes, cauliflower, bell pepper, and some delicious spices — no actual cream. . . I’m lactose intolerant, so dairy free is the way I like to be with soups.
Recently I made a recipe that called for “Montreal Steak Seasoning,” but I didn’t have any on hand. So, I had to look up the ingredients, hope I had them and do it on the fly. Not only is it more affordable this way, there isn’t all of the extra preservatives and I can leave out the ingredients I don’t like — win / win! I thought I’d share share the recipe with you. . .
After ordering fabric, I went on to order all of the quilting supplies I would need to complete my quilt. In part 2 of my Quilt-A-Long / Learn to Quilt With Me Series I talk about what supplies you’ll need as well as a variety of places you can purchase them. Remember to hashtag #QuiltingAlongWithTamara if you’re on social media. 🙂
As part of my Quilt-A-Long / Learn to Quilt With Me Series (if you’re on social media, remember to hashtag #QuiltingAlongWithTamara), I first went to pick out and buy fabric of course! 🙂 Why? Because that’s the most exciting part — right!?
Are you new to quilting? I am! I have been wanting to learn for quite some time. So, I decided I would just go ahead and do it . . . dive right in! I’ll continue to post updates as I complete my quilt. So if you want to quilt along with me (or just keep up with my progress), you can do that too!
