Who doesn’t love a good pair of rain boots, right?! Here in DC we need them because those April showers certainly do ring true here!

I have had a pair of Kamik’s that I got off of Zappos a few years ago that are charcoal grey and look a little bit like this:

Kamik – Jennifer

I love ordering off of Zappos because you can order like 20 gazillion things in a million different sizes and not worry about shipping because they always have free shipping (yay!). And then keep — ya know — like the 2 things you’re actually going to keep, and then return everything else (for free!) because Zappos also has free return shipping! LOVE it! 🙂

So – if you’re in the market for a new pair of rain boots, you’ve come to the right place. I love mine! I picked charcoal because it goes with everything — black, grey, colors — and it’s not so dark like black. Though Kamiks also come in some other colors and looks (see below) if you don’t fancy the charcoal. The other reason I’ve stuck with my Kamiks for so long is that they fit my calves! 🙂 I’m 4ft 10in, and have really wide calves! It’s just a fact of life for me that I have come to accept, but finding boots — regular, rain, or otherwise — is quite a challenge. So, when these not only fit right out of the gate, but were also super comfortable, I was very excited!

Here are some other styles of Kamiks if you’re interested:

Those aren’t all of the Kamik boots . . . there’s a whole lot more! See for yourself

Not into Kamik? That’s ok.

Here are some other brands you might like . . .

We’ve of course got the more traditional route – the Hunter boot.

Perhaps you like Crocs?

Maybe you like Toms or Bogs (they have a lot of the short ankle rain boots)? And if you want to go fancy (ie. luxury), you could go for Burberry!

I think my next rain boot purchase is going to be those short ankle rain boots. As much as I love my rain boots, mine are more for the fall / cold weather. Now that it will be getting warmer and quite humid, the ankle boots seem so ideal! My sister got a pair last year, and I have been thinking about getting some ever since then. Now it’s just onto picking a pair out. . . Guess we’ll have to see how that goes 🙂

OK – now it’s your turn. I’d love to hear from YOU!
Do you have rain boots already? If so, what’s your brand (if you have a favorite)? If you’re in the market for a pair, what are you looking for? Can I help you?
