After successfully trying Truckeroo in June, we headed back for this food truck bonanza again last weekend! I mean, with my immense love of food trucks and a lovely summer night, there would have to be something awfully big to stop me from attending!
We got spiedies for dinner from the Bada Bing truck:
Ben and I both got “The Bing Spiedies” — spiedies with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and fresh basil with chicken chunks marinated in olive oil, vinegar and herbs cooked over an open flame. they were delicious! 🙂
And then. . . for dessert we went to Curbside Cupcakes for Guinness Chocolate Stout cupcakes in honor of DC Beer Week (which I had heard about via twitter earlier in the day!):
