Dinner at El Centro D.F.

Last Saturday I had some truly great mexican food and margaritas! Ben and I went to a Taqueria & Tequileria on 14th Street (near U Street) called El Centro D.F.

Being a tequileria, they had quite the tequila selection! They had a whole book of tequilas separated by type — blancos, reposados, anejos, extra anejos, infused & blended tequilas, and mezcals. We ended up ordering margaritas (my favorite, of course)!

For an appetizer we ordered Guacamole, which they made right at the table! It was so very delicious and the chips were yummy too. Here’s a photo:

For dinner I got the Duck Mole Enchiladas (mole poblano / cotija cheese / mexican rice / sesame seeds) and Ben got the Beef Barbacoa Enchiladas (brisket / mexican rice / crema fresca / entomatada sauce / refried black beans).

All-in-all it was so very delicious and I would most definitely recommend El Centro D.F.
